My Story
So here is a little on how I got started... my co-worker who had just started with Scentsy wanted me to host a party and when I saw the product I fell in love...I quickly learned a lot about the company and the product and found I couldn’t stop talking about it. I started to sell to friends by hosting basket parties. One day my fiancé said "why don’t you just sign up and start selling yourself instead of selling for someone else." I thought he was crazy because I am not a sales person, and hated to approach people I didn’t know.
So I just signed up thinking I will just sell to friends and myself and maybe get some discount products, either way at the very least I would make my money back that I spent on the startup kit... So I started to do just that, joined December 8, 2010, sold to friends, bought gifts for birthdays, baby showers, etc…
A few months later that all started to change as I got great inspiration from my Director Genia Albright. I wanted to make something more of this opportunity. I wanted more than just a few extra bucks a month and discount products. I realized I wanted to build a team of successful consultants that shared the same desire for the company as I did. I realized I wanted to move up in leadership and achieve goals I thought would never be possible for me. I got my first recruit in February, made Lead Consultant by June 2011 and am now a Star Consultant with a team of 12 consultants.
I love being able to help others in every way possible. And most of all I love what Scentsy has done for me. It has given me a sense of pride and self confidence that I never had before. One thing my Director says is so true…”I don’t “sell” Scentsy …………I Share Scentsy.”
